We constantly restrain ourselves. Whether it physically or mentally, we tend to hold ourselves back. It’s our nature to protect ourselves from the world around us. But when any restraint gets too tight, our whole world can become trapped inside of it.

Life seems to come at us from all directions. For me it also seems to come in dimensions. I constantly feel pulled both left and right, backward, forward, this way and that. Sometimes, I feel like if I’m not careful, it will all collapse into a broken pile.
Reflecting on the past is not always easy nor is it always a positive experience.
